CROWN POINT – The 4^th Annual Region Idol contest returns to the Hall of Justice in Crown Point to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society – Indiana State Chapter (NMSS). Similar to the popular TV Show, American Idol, contestants will compete before a panel of judges in order to win the title “Region Idol.”

            The 2-day auditions will be held on Thursday, April 3^rd and Friday, April 4^ththrd. More than $2,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the Top Female Vocalist, Top Male Vocalist and an overall winner will be named “Region Idol” on the final night of competition.
from 7pm to 10pm at the Hall of Justice located at 220 South Main Street in Crown Point. The contest will run each consecutive Friday beginning at 7pm on April 11 and ending May 23

            Entrants must be at least 21 years of age to enter and a $25 entry fee is due with the entry form by Friday, March 28^th. Forms can be found at the following locations; Rubino’s Music, Merrillville; Albert’s Jewelers, Munster; the Hall of Justice, Crown Point or by calling 219-661-1811. Entry forms can also be filled out online at the regional idiol site. 

            Those who plan to attend the auditions and competition, there will be a $5 donation required at the door and a $10 donation on the final night of competition (higher
